I am a qualified translator with an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth, translating between German and my mother tongue, English.
I deliver high quality translations and articles to clients in the culture and leisure services, with a particular emphasis on classical music.

With 20 years as a professional performer behind me, I have an in-depth knowledge of this area enabling me to produce  engaging, lively and accurate texts, written or translated to commission.

Clients include the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, TACET records (Stuttgart, Germany) and the Wagner Societies of Scotland and London.

I also deliver and translate talks on music in English and German and have worked with conductors such as Sir Andrew Davis and Thomas Søndergård and soloists such as Steven Osborne, Christian Ihle Hadland and Kari Kriiku.
